We are a young church start (new church) that wants to be very active in the community. Kaleo comes from a Greek word that means "called", something we reference in our vision statement. We see the church as living more outside of the walls of a building where it meets than focused inside. Our statement is: "Called to connecting communities to the gospel of Jesus Christ by worshipping God, loving others, and serving the world. The three main aspects of church life can be summarized as Communion (with God), Community (with others), and Mission (to the world). We desire to be active, vibrant, winsome, caring, dependent on God, involved in the needs of others. Some of the logos below are just given to show the kind of style we like. So, some are actually poster designs but demonstrate style more than specifically the kind of logo we'd like.
Logo types to explore
I provided a sketch that we worked on. In the K you will notice a vertical line that represents our relationship with God and a horizontal line that represents our relationship with others. This was just an idea. I don't really like how the horizontal line is disconnected, though...but I didn't like it a lot when it was moved over. We like to significance though.
