grahamxj got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo wanted for my editorial business
Check out grahamxj's Logo design contest…
I’m a copy-editor and proofreader. My clients are mainly publishers and various other organisations. I work on books (nearly always non-fiction), reports, newsletters, marketing content and so on. My aim is to help my clients to get their message across smoothly and efficiently, by making their written content clear, readable, consistent and suited to its audience.
I’d like the logo to suggest reliability, professionalism and attention to detail; but I also want to seem friendly, approachable and good to work with. I don’t offer a creative service, so I’d prefer something quite plain, solid, simple and businesslike – not flowery or whimsical. I would like it to look good on my website, www.gh-ed.com, in the top-left corner (however, I could change the web page design to suit the logo if necessary). UPDATE (8 Nov.): If you could incorporate a pen into the design, that might be interesting.
