core99 was excellent to work with, incorporated our feedback very well and turned around all of our edits very quickly. I would highly recommend core99 to anyone looking for a professional and talented designer.

What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are distributors. We focus on sourcing from around the world, processing and then distributing recycled plastics and metals to global customers. We don't like our current logo as it looks terrible on a business card. Fine detail (the globe features) are lost in print. We do like the Orange and grey theme of the site which is still under construction.
We wear many hats but to put it simply, we sell recycled plastics into packaging manufacturers. We also sell a lot of machinery used in the industry. Going farther, we also offer a bespoke buying to budget (contract procurement) service and drop/ship warehousing/distribution facility. Our old logo is really terrible and must be easier to read. Fancy logos only look great on a website! We'd like a pictorial type mark; think Apple, think WWF and One World Below.
Try and use colours that will work a short while on our current website.

Attached is a better quality copy of our current terrible logo for reference. Remember we may just use CWW initials for our name or refer to ourselves simply as 'Columbia'. Hopefully this will give you more flexibility with the design.
We will print this on trade show stands and on polypropylene bulk bags/super sacks (Google them). Fewer shadings/colours makes it easier to print but we can always reduce colour or make greyscale for labels etc. Main logo isn't suitable. One World (parent company) we like as it's clear and it plays on oil, water and environment (what the company does) and is a vector graphic that prints easily.
