Kim was great to work with--efficient, responsive to my needs, and really flexible. I had over 220 designs submitted, and hers always stood out. She has a really good eye for design and a professional touch. I highly recommend her.
How btompkins started their logo design journey
We're CodeBetter.Com, a network of blog sites that includes devlicio.us. We're a cutting edge community of some of the best software developers and authors in the industry.
In the past, we've been primarily focused on Microsoft technologies. We're currently launching a new version of our site using Linux and WordPress. We're launching a new skin and new branding with a new, cleaner logo is what we're hoping for.
At the same time we're starting to write about non-Microsoft technologies, and we're hoping to attract a wider audience.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Extremely smart software developers who care about their craft. We're about not just getting things done, but getting things done the right way, and exploring the new frontiers of our craft..
A "riff" on our existing logo.
Our logo is concentric circles, meant to be a sort of beacon. Yes this is probably overused and has been done over and over, but we've had years of branding behind it, so that's where we are today.
We're looking for a cleaner version, very open to different interpretations as long as the lineage is clear in the eye of someone who has been seeing it for years.
