Logo for Dutch website in Apple related products

My name is Dennis, students in the Netherlands and quite internet savy. Around a year ago I started a webshop (iPod-oplader.com) selling chargers for iPod. Right now I'm ready to expand the number of shops and start selling iPad related products as well.

My motto: Less is more

Price aware customers who makes purchases over the internet. Because we mainly sell Apple related items so our customers care about the looks of items but also about the price.

They find our company mostly through Google or the Dutch equivalent of eBay.

No clear idea about their age, gender, race or other demographics.

As mentioned we started with only one store but are now planning to expand to four stores in total. (see list above)

We have been brainstorming about the logo for a while and decided that for all four stores we will use the same design and also the logo should be similar. Our idea was to have a common (graphical) part of the logo for all four stores and then a (textual) store specific part.

So each logo has the two following elements: one graphical element and a textual element that is store specific.

For the graphical part you are free to come up with anything creative, we like site like mailchimp.com, wired.com, listapart.com, bol.com. Maybe something related to a shopping cart is a good idea to emphasize the webshop.

The textual part should show the name of the stores withouth the leading www. and the first part of the text (iPod, iPhone and iPad) should be in a different colour from the rest.

The main colour should be a bright shade of yellow for example the following: #FFCC00 as support colour and for the first part of the text I like the following colour #555555. However you are free to make any suggestion (maybe red, brown or some shade of green).

The height:width ratio should be somewhere between 1:3.5 and 1:5
