VEB needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 323 designs submitted by 87 freelance designers.
We want to change our logo to a modern business logo that appeals to both young (30-55) and older investors (55+).
The Organisation
The Dutch Shareholders Association (abbreviation VEB) is a nonprofit organization that protects the interest of primarily small investors.
We appear frequently in the media, we publish a biweekly magazine and a couple of books and we organize a yearly investment event.
We help Dutch investors by improving the integrity en efficiency of financial markets.
At this moment we have 40.000 members and we’re growing. Our target for the next 4 years is to grow to 100.000 members.
The VEB was founded in 1924 and for our 85th anniversary (March 2009) we’re considering changing our logo.
After a recent study we concluded that our logo doesn’t fit our profile. We want to change that to a modern logo that appeals to both young (30-55) and older investors (55+).
Create a logo that contains minimally the 3 characters “v e b” and the name “Vereniging van Effectenbezitters”. The color red must be included in the logo. The rest is up to your creative minds. If you want to include an image in the logo, you can, but make sure that the image is right free.
With the logo we want to create a feeling of:
An independent organization
An honest organization
A critical organization
A courageous organization
A professional organization
An organization with a focus on its members
- Minimally the 3 characters “v e b”
- Include the name “Vereniging van Effectenbezitters"
- The logo must include the color red
- capital letters
