“Du bist GEFA” is German and stands for “You are GEFA” (GEFA is the name of the company). “Du bist GEFA” is an internal initiative of a renowned financial services provider (or simply, a bank, mainly active in corporate financing for SMEs) to further the overall team spirit and identification with the company.
The logo should be related to our main corporate values of “team spirit, professionalism and innovation” and express these values while at the same time being likable, sympathetic and easy to remember. After all, it is the PEOPLE who make a company great, so that could be a first approach.
Even though the logo is for a financial services company, its focus is the internal communication of the “Du bist GEFA” initiative and thus it does not have to be related to finance / money. Rather, since the goal is to strengthen employee’s identification with the company, the logo should have an emotional dimension that makes it interesting and easy to relate to for employees.
Please do not use “abstract shapes” but design a clever or witty icon that represents the corporate values, is sympathetic (but not too playful or “cheesy”) and allows for an emotional connection. A mascot might work, but it will easily be too playful for the “seriousness” of a bank, so be warned :)
The logo will mainly be used for internal purposes to create awareness of the initiative and to connect it with a positive, emotional image. The purpose of the logo is to provide identity to the initiative so internal communication about the project and its goals as well as internal communication campaigns and materials can be branded with the logo.
The preferred colors are red (RGB 230/0/40), black and white. The preferred font is “Helvetica Neue”.
