World stores is a network of niche online stores

The categories will be very wide ranging from consumer electronics, toys, food, furniture, apparel, shoes and more. The tone of the site will be big and bold, easy to use while being a little cheeky. World Stores is customer centric based company focusing on what our customers need and want. Our customers will become an extension of the company via web 2.0 technology and social media initiatives.
Online in Australia is fairly immature at the moment but people are starting to make the switch.

The market is currently targeted by pure-play online retailers who on do not focus in the customer or the needs of the customer and generally have shops from cookie cutter e-commerce vendors that are hard to use and quite intimidating.
Design a logo that holds it own but can be incorporated into sub brands to tie the relationship together.
The logo must be an illustrative unique logo that is clearly associated to world stores on it's own without the words.
The logo should have some representation of the network of niche stores.
The logo must be fun, bold and should be a little bit cheeky. Each vertical category e.g. Computers, Food, Apparel, Toys etc will have a different brand colour so the icon might want to represent this but please do not make it look gawly or tacky like a rainbow.
Please take inspiration from social media websites logo with the simplicity they generally have but clear brand statement.
The brand should be easily recognised in a very small format such a as a top navigation store selector bar probably around 20x20 pixels as well as a 16 x 16 pixel favicon. It does not need to be the whole logo as long as it is clearly identified as world stores and ties in with the actual logo.
The logo needs to display an R in a circle to represent that the brand and logo has been registered.
At the end of the day we need a fun, vibrant logo that represents a net generation online store that people can connect with and fell is a trusted brand they can interact with.
The final files must be delivered as an EPS vector file or layered PSD file. E.g. must be in the original format to allow it to be used in multiple environments
