Field Ready is a non-profit humanitarian organization. Field Ready brings manufacturing to challenging places. Our vision is to meet humanitarian need by transforming logistics through technology, innovative design and engaging people in new ways. Our target audience are people affected by disasters but also donors who provide funds to support our programs. We train others to solve problems locally in areas such as health, water and sanitation. We use the latest technology such as 3D printers and laser cutters as well as traditional machines. The impact of this is dramatically improving efficiency in international aid delivery by meeting needs that are at best only partially fulfilled at present cutting in part by cutting procurement costs and reducing transport and saving time.
