AssemblyPoint needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 124 designs submitted by 45 freelance designers.
I'm got to select a winner this Sunday. I'll also need business cards and stationary done. Design needs to be ready for presentation on Tuesday....AssemblyPoint is a new Web 2.0 site for managing employee details, tracking time spent on projects, and tracking holidays and sick days. There are a lot of systems out there that do this but we're making our site extremely easy to use with a lot of participation from employees as opposed to the HR department. The URL will be assemblypoint.com
AssemblyPoint
I need a logo that will work really well on the Web. It must contain the name AssemblyPoint. The name can be spelt as one or two words. I'm open to all lower case or a mixture. The logo should ideally incorporate an icon. The site is aimed at small to medium sized companies and is used for managing employees details, time spent on projects, and vacation/sick days. Other employee related functions will be added over time. There's a large element of "self service" in the system whereby employees add/edit their own information.
- Item 1...a logo incorporating the name AssemblyPoint, or assembly point, or Assembly Point. Althought the service is aimed at corporates it shouldn't have a dull corporate look and feel. The service is all about people.
- Item 1...no rainbows, musical instruments or toasters. No reflections or fills too complex for Web.
