I was born in England, I've lived in New York for more than 25 years now and I "talk" for a living.
I am a creative consultant and after spending a number of years in the commercial photography industry, I formed “Chatterbox Enterprises” to offer photographers a variety of creative consulting services – ranging from portfolio and image reviews to customized marketing packages designed to help them refine their vision, target their appropriate audience as well as create and implement an Internet-driven business plan. My experience ranges from Archive magazine, to the Black Book, photo representatives Watson & Spierman Productions, PDN’s PhotoServe & IPNStock as well as database services ADBASE & Agency Access.
Besides my creative and marketing consulting, I also work as an event coordinator, panel moderator and seminar speaker both in and out of the photo community. I have regularly presented programs for Adorama, APA, ASMP, The Miami Ad School, Parsons/The New School & Photo Plus Expo.
What I bring to the table is my ability to not only talk, but also to listen and to help people make better business decisions as well as feel good about who they are and what they do. So Chatterbox is also about my personality and my ability to communicate with people.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I currently work as a creative consultant, mostly with photographers, but I am open to my company expanding. I have always intended that Chatterbox would be the umbrella for many outlets. In other words, Chatterbox and talking are how I earn a living, but that could come under many platforms and not be limited to the photo industry.
I am looking for a new logo that captures the essence of Chatterbox without being too cute. I have had several different logos since starting the company and I am attaching the current one, which I feel we have outgrown. I am also attaching a copy of my current business card.
We have a new website under construction with liveBooks but we need the new logo to initiate the new "branding" of the company.
We had started to work on a brown & gold color-scheme, but we are not tied to that.
I like earth-tone colors - browns, oranges, yellows, gold & red
Some key words to describe myself and my business - chatty, warm, friendly, relatable, down-to-earth, funny, smart, resourceful, classy, nurturing, compassionate, entertaining, current not old-fashioned, and born in August under the sign of Leo.
