Randy in Brighton got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Local church needs minimalist logo - be creative!
Check out Randy in Brighton's Logo design contest…
The client is a local church. The name of the church is Brighton Assembly of God - abbreviated to "BrightonAG". It's targeting new members, age 25-55. They are looking to incorporate the following: A logo with a dark, block background (see samples of logos they like). They would also like to see samples of a logo without the dark, block background. They want to make sure there is a separation/distinction between the word “brighton” and “ag” – they don’t want it to appear as one, long word – “brightonag” without separation, unless separated by color. If using an icon, a stylized “b” or “B” would be preferred, but they are open.
Other color requirements
We are looking for a logo that would be designed with a combination of the following colors (select one or more; but not all five): Black - #000000 Blue - #75a4c4 Lime green - #a6d907 Salmon - #fe9798 White - #ffffff
See the attached document for logos the client likes.

As a new technology company that needed to make a statement and present a dynamic brand identity, we at Kahana needed to create a core Brand Guide and foundational Logo, and Icon Set to get started with various diverse marketing efforts. For this reason, we sought an expert designer that could capture the complexity of our vision and ideas for the future. We wanted to work with Corne, specifically, because we appreciated the creativity and uniqueness of the various designs created within the past portfolio projects, and we were excited for the opportunity to have our vision be channeled by such a great designer. Overall, working with Corne, was phenomenal experience. Versions were implemented and designed in a timely and efficient manner, and the quality of work was extremely impressive. Because Corne was so willing to discuss options, flexibly incorporate new ideas, and make revisions, each of the design artifacts - Logo, Icon Set, and Brand Guide - came out perfectly, exactly as we imagined. We would refer any individual or business to work with Corne for any type of design project for all these reasons. At the end of the day, Corne does everything at an elite level and has a way of making beautiful and artistic design pieces, all while providing excellent service and a positive experience! I really respect and appreciate the work that was done on behalf of Kahana and couldn't be more exhilarated with how everything came out.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
