Stone Solid Life Coaching
As a practitioner, I have extensive training and I hold two advanced educational degrees in theology and clinical psychology. My vision is to construct and implement a coaching model grounded upon philosophical, spiritual, and positive psychological principles of sound and fulfilling human endeavor.
The mission of the practice is to effectively offer INSPIRING EMPOWERING TRANSFORMATION to individuals (clients) that are seeking to maximize their purpose, attain further growth and fulfillment, in addition to acquiring positive new perspectives in personal and professional domains. The motif of Philosophical, Spiritual, and Psychological are part of the model.
The culture being sought in this new practice is a combination of two themes. First, a classical appeal in terms of aesthetic excellence and transcendence that is grounded in lasting artistic creativity and transformation. The second theme is modern elegance and psychological professionalism with an upscale appeal.
The target is an existing market in terms of life coaching. However, the coaching model is unique in that it is based on new developments in the growing field of positive psychology (a theoretical orientation/model based on timeless philosophical & spiritual principles, yet enhanced with current empirical behavioral research).
The target client is likely to be professional, college educated, earning an income of $75,000 or more. This individual is a very active consumer and a confident decision maker with a keen intellectual desire to fully explore and discern their purpose, essence, talent, potential, in addition to making long-term happiness a priority.
CLASSICAL APPEAL: Ideas for the classical appeal theme could be Roman/Greek Pillars or Michelangelo's David. In terms of applying such, perhaps the T in Stone could represent a Pillar and Michelangelo's David might be perched around the S in Stone. Another idea for the pillars might be having "Stone Solid" resting on top of a strong pillar. The development of David (say three blocks highlighting the transformation also comes to mind. The idea of rock walls and steps (going up/coming down or both) is intriguing. Also, I'm open to a chiseled connotation in the name STONE, any of the previously mentioned ideas, or something completely different altogether.
MODERN APPEAL: Although it is early 20th century, Rodin's "The Thinker" comes to mind. Other ideas include a rock wall, column, or mountain with an individual in a "Shawshank Redemption" pose on top or one person giving a hand to another helping them up a wall, mountain, or column.
COLORS: I'm leaning towards a red, grey, and black color scheme. I've looked at colorcombos.com and gravitated to red cc000, black 0000, and grey cccccc. That said, I am open to variations of that color scheme.
FONT: I like Copperplate and I used it on a rough draft (in the attachment).
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BE CREATIVE. I'M ONLY OFFERING IDEAS. I COULD VERY WELL OBSERVE A LOGO THAT CAPTURES THE CULTURE AND ESSENCE OF MY PRACTICE MORE ACCURATELY.
