Rondow has been very receptive and patient in the process, it was a pleasure working with him.
How ILT started their logo design journey
CITY FARM DC > We desperately need a logo that communicates our mash-up vision of growing clean food with real people on private land in the heart of an urban landscape.
CITY FARM DC
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We connect District of Columbia (DC) landowners with DC urban farmers/gardeners. > We "grow" and nurture normal people who happen to live in a city but want to grow food locally, cleanly, and privately. > We help foster a micro-shift in food production *away* from the agri-biz/industrial/far.away to right here in our urban neighborhoods, growing where we can, however we can. > We're ultra-local, non-profit, sustainably-minded, and hell-bent on juicy, meaty heirloom tomatoes right off the vine.
- Communicates growing food in the city
- Communicates green, sustainable, accessible
- Communicates that we're located entirely within the geographic confines of the District of Columbia (DC), USA
- Somehow gets that we're mashing up DC's buttoned-down, political, moumental, institutional "vibe" (seat of government, political power hub, etc.) with a new, green, clean, human-sized, and ultimately sustainable food production vision
