Terry is a fantastic designer -- not just because of his skill, which is dramatically evident in his work, but even more so because of his intention to listen to the needs and wants of his clients, respond thoughtfully to requests and collaborations, and move the project forward in harmony with those he serves to deliver outstanding results.
I cannot recommend him enough and will continue to work with him as much as I can.
How Dean Ekkaia started their logo design journey
Lumilan is a high-tech early-stage startup with a unique flexible touchscreen technology.
Imagine, the possibilities with an ultra-thin, flexible multi-touch screen. With our technology, the entire surface of your phone, your wall, or a projector screen can be made into a multi-touch screen. Not to mention a new generation of flexible devices such as wearable computers, retractable, rollable displays and touch-screen epaper.
Our vision is to allow natural and intuitive touch and gesture based interaction with objects and technology. We are part of an exciting new generation of computing devices based on plastic electronics, flexible displays and Lumilans’s technology that is emerging.
Help us come out of our stealth mode with a clean, distinctive and memorable logo. We want something that will stand on it's own as a strong icon and become recognized even without our name next to it.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are targeting the consumer electronics market and the savvy early-adopters as well as commercial partners for our technology. The logo and design must be pleasing to a wide audience as well as across cultures.
Looking for a great logo for Lumilan that stands alone as an icon.
Please be bold and creative with the designs!
We are seeking a logo that can stand apart as well as alongside our company name. No characters or literal references to flexible please. For inspiration, think light and high-tech, yet distinctive shapes, geometry and/or color. I have an inclination for blues in addition to other bold primary colors. I'm open to some dimensionality to the design. For the font for 'Lumilan' please take creative freedom but keep it clean, simple and elegant.
If possible, please display the logo both alone and with the company name.
