How Ventris & Bywater started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
"A Hymn of Kingdom" and "Hymns of Kingdom"
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
"Hymns of Kingdom" is a series of twelve loosely-connected novels that will span the years 1895-2005. The are quietly Christian and redemptive, but I don't want the logo to use standard Christian symbolism. If this helps, a sunrise metaphor will be present in every novel. "Hymn" refers to our lives as potential pictures of God's glory, and "Kingdom" refers to the spiritual kingdom of God. The number twelve (12) is also an important component of the series as a whole. The logo will be doubly-used: Each specific novel will be referred to as "A Hymn of Kingdom" and the novels as a whole will be referred to as "Hymns of Kingdom".
