Good Paisley offers business advice and coaching (think boutique agency) to entrepreneurs and small businesses who focus on doing good whether is it through eco-friendly business practices, incorporating charitable giving, or directly providing products or services that are good for people or the environment. Our belief is that making money and doing good are not mutually exclusive and we work with our clients to make them more successful so that they in turn can do more good. Besides business consulting services. We hope to create a network of resources to connect "good" focused businesses for services. We will also offer eco-friendly products to support businesses as well as a blog/newsletter that will provide tips, support and inspiration to our audience. We practice what we preach so that our information is true, relevant and based on real life experience.
Our target market is small business owners and entrepreneurs whose businesses have a focus on doing good whether is it through eco-friendly business practices, incorporating charitable giving, or directly providing products or services that are good for people or the environment. Our audience mix slants more towards women (75% women and 25% men) but should not exclude men. These people are not extreme and we don't assume that they are perfect. Our goal is to help any business that has a desire to be better in their quest to get greener, give more or provide more to others. Our clients want to have events that are "greener", make more money and in turn donate money to their charities of choice or have their business have less impact on the environment as well as making changes and creating a culture in their offices that incorporates the same ideals.
The Good Paisley logo should be:
Crisp and clean with a nice balance between being classic and contemporary.
Good Paisley is smart and classy but with an outgoing personality, approachable but not for everyone. We are for smart entrepreneurs in the "know" but not exclusive.
We don't want to rely on green to get the "eco" part of the message across. We do like darker pinks and magenta and like white on color although open to options.
The Paisley pattern which is a droplet shape can be incorporated but we don't envision it be overwhelming or busy. If used is should feel fresh and contemporary and not old fashioned in any way. A single paisley droplet would be more appreciated than a busy paisley background. Open as well to something in between if done well. Google Paisley to get a an idea of different variations on the droplet. Again we like simple compared to the more complex.
If using color or knock out, the logo will also need to look good in black and white.
Please feel free to experiment with color
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo
Thanks and good luck we look forward to checking out your design!
