EastSideDesigns was AWESOME! Great communication, super flexibility and a deep understanding of design. Really, it's that last one that set this designer far and above the rest. Every line, curve and color had a reason for being there and the designer shared his thought process with me when he presented my logo. THAT showed me that he understood what I was asking for and, with his expertise, knew how to deliver it to me. Way better results than I even imagined!
How IvyCat started their logo design journey
Drive-In Central (driveincentral.com)
The DriveInCentral.com site will feature information about drive-in movie theaters, the movies they show, reviews, movie times, and related information.
We've not launched the site yet - it's still under development, but we'd like to start the design process with a good, solid logo.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Lovers of drive-in movies and drive-in theater owners/managers.
There's a social networking aspect to the site, so we're going to try to inspire movie-lovers, and even theater owners, to get involved.
I'd like the logo to convey one or more of the following:
* drive-in movies
* movies / film
I've attached a few avatar files that were created (and copyrighted) by Last Kiss Comics (lastkisscomics.com). These comic files convey an obviously fun and comic-ey look that I'd like to continue, or complement, with the new logo.
The logo should look good on both white/light & black/dark backgrounds. Most likely, the site will use darker colors, as it's consistent with night and drive-in movies.
