In launching a new marketplace at www.Themes.com, we wanted a design that was "By Designers, For Designers" which is our motto for Themes.com. QBL competed with many other designers and her design rose above the competition. Thanks for the great work and look for your work soon as we rebrand our business around this design.

Whoopee is a retro term meaning joy or jubilance; unbridled fun. Pop! was inspired by old Batman episodes where they used to show 'Bang!', 'Pow!', 'Bam!' during the fight scenes. (see here: http://www.retroplanet.com/blog/ret…roplanet/) Basically, its a fusion of retro terms and concepts, but one meant to convey whimsy and fun. I dig the retro! Love the stuff on retroplanet.com.
This logo is going to represent my various endeavors, so it needs to be good with all of them. Its unlikely to ever make it on a t-shirt, so the focus should be on a solid logo for a website and should look good on a business card.
No real preference on colors, but would be hoping that the color scheme translates well into a marketing website.
