The Ontario Association of General Surgeons (OAGS) is an interest group that represents the voice of general surgery specialists (academic, urban, community, rural, remote) within the province of Ontario. The non-profit organization works with other surgical/medical sections and organizations to improve the working conditions of its members as well as to improve the health and safety of their patients by providing insight and expertise for guidelines and standards of the profession in Ontario.

Our target audience is medical professionals, specifically general surgeons. The majority of our members are older males (average age is 50), but new grads entering the profession are more gender proportionate. Location: Ontario, Canada. Education: These professionals are highly educated with surgical experience and MD certification. Aside from their busy elective surgery during the week, they work long hours and are on call on wkds/weekday evenings to take care of ER and most surgical situations. They take their profession and obligation to the safety of their patients very seriously. Their surgical skills are wide-ranging from colorectal, breast, hernia, abdominal, bariatric, trauma, cancer screening, endoscopy, laparoscopy.....
