Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
GiftMagic saves people time and agony when buying gifts. The site suggests gifts your friends would appreciate.
The logo will be 50px high and so make sure to make the tag line letters large enough to read. Also if a gift is used in the logo making it the shape of a gift card would be appreciated.
The site figures out whom a person is likely to gift (out of all of their Facebook friends) and what gifts those friends/family would appreciate based on what they've shared on Facebook (i.e. likes, interests, etc).
The initial version of the site will rank gift cards per friend. For example a friend that is interested in following a football team could have an NFLShop.com gift card high on the list.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Logos I like include: kayak.com (conveys quick in and out experience which is what we want for GiftMagic), napster.com (cool mascot), eBay.com (fun), ebuddy.com (cool mascot), snapfish.com (fish looks like a camera which is relevant for a photo site), orbitz.com (simple but with a twist), break.com (captures the goal of the site, to break out, kill boredom)
I want to create a trusted site for buying gifts for family and friends. The word "Gift" in the name refers to a magical experience on the site and not to magic tricks.
We expect the target audience is to lean a bit towards middle aged women who tend to buy gifts more often than other groups. I've suggested color ideas but I'm open to other colors.
The slogan we want to incorporate is "Gifts Your Friends Want". We need a copy of the logo with the slogan and one without the slogan.
