bart.stevens got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help create a logo that merges my passion for amateur radio and nature!

Read.Write.Think.Live. (With or without periods or bullets- I'm flexible)
This logo is actually for a personal blog based on my dual interests as an amateur (ham) radio operator and an outdoor enthusiast. I am looking to cultivate a space online that chronicles my pursuits building and communicating with ham radios, typically outside in nature on hikes, camping, kayaking, traveling to remote parts of the globe. As obscure as that sounds, my blog would attract those with an interest in interacting with amateur technology in nature. Target demographics might overlap with the Sierra Club, World Wide Fund for Nature and the Nature Conservancy.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
bart.stevens collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
