The Academy of Global Studies @ Winton Woods High School is a school within a school. It is part of a the Winton Woods City School District in Ohio. The Academy of Global Studies will develop the student for the global world though technology, language and travel. **IMPORTANT: We want to have an iconic logo that can be integrated into a new identity/brand/logo for the entire district.**

What the new logo should convey: global outlook global awareness strength building for the future, moving forward cutting edge education program diverse well rounded interdisciplinary technology-focused Overview: The Winton Woods City School district (www.wintonwoods.org) is truly a school district that is cultivating a world-class education. The district believes that they have the capacity to make Winton Woods a destination, and the Academy of Global Studies (AGS) is the first step in that direction. AGS is a school-within- a-school concept. Students in AGS will study a standards based curriculum that will prepare them to meet the state requirements. Students are required to study four years of Spanish or Mandarin Chinese. Global themes will be integrated in an interdisciplinary fashion through a Project-Based Learning (PBL) environment. This is only the third school in the country to be a global school in combination with the New Tech network. Target Audience The target audience is very broad and includes current and future community members, teachers, parents, students, faculty and administration from both the Winton Woods School District as well as other area districts. Requirements: The goal is to create a logo that embodies both the personality and objective of the over-arching Winton Woods brand. Ideally, we’d love to have an iconic logo that can be integrated into a new identity for the entire district. Incorporate school colors (blue and green) for consistency. We’d prefer the use of some type of avatar or icon that we could use as a watermark; we’re open to your interpretation of this as long as it satisfies the watermark use.
