I am an active Real Estate investor, I have recently received my Real Estate license. I am now looking to establish my identity as an expert in Real Estate investing as well as an expert in my "farm" areas.
I have also been a well established computer/networking consultant, for the past 20 years..
I would like to create an image that is a balance between professional and casual, knowledgeable, but approachable and friendly. I hope that makes some sense.
My primary audience are people buying and selling there homes, typically in the age range from mid-30's well into there 60s in affluent areas of coastal Orange County California, many of whom are savvy investors. This requires a professional and knowledgeable image.
However, I also manage contractors and workers on rehab projects. As well as hard working blue collar people that buy and sell homes in solid middle class neighborhoods. This requires a bit of casual and friendly element.
My logo will be used on Business cards, web page header and stationary among other things.
I am totally open to suggestions! My initial thought is one that includes an icon with my initials 'R E' and My name spelled out "Rusty Eddy".
Here are some things to keep in mind:
1. No cartoons avoid designs that are 'whimsical'
2. Not too fancy, corporate or too stodgy
3. Keep the typeface clear and legible.
I like colors that work with blues and greys. Feel free to play with some color to make it noticable and interesting. Have a look at the beginning of my website for colors that I'd like to work with. However feel free to throw in some colors to make it more noticable and exciting!
All art work must be original, no stock images or designs.
I haven't really found anything examples that I want to post (yet). I have however attached some bad scribbles on thoughts that I have. Please feel free to use the attached document as a starting point, or do your own design.
Please use vector graphics: illustrator, photoshop, publisher, etc.
I would like the source file, as well as a couple sizes of .jpg when finished.
