This is a brand being launched to market geocaching events.
Logo types to explore
Geocaching is a sport/hobby/game/pasttime and this brand is going to be used to promote geocaching events. For more info on geocaching, check out http://www.101geo.com.au/help_answer.asp?ID=20 This brand will be used across multiple events, in various locations on different dates, so needs to be easily customised (with my limited photoshop skills!) to change locations and dates for future events. The tag line for the brand (not to be included in the logo) is 'Big on fun, little on boring bits!' The event will have a major sponsor, so we would like to see options of the logo including and excluding the sponsors logo. The sponsor is 101geo (www.101geo.com.au) I've attached the 101geo logo here as well. The logo will be used on websites, some print collateral, and as a printed and embroidered logo on merchandise. If the logo contains graduated colours, we'll just create a block colour version for embroidery, so dont feel restricted to using solid colours in the logo. We'd like there to be some key element of the logo (a key design element, or a cartoon character, etc) that can be used across other items. For example, in the 101geo logo, the graphical element is sometimes used without the wording. The events will only be held in Australia, and it would be nice to have some kind of Australian touch in the logo, but not over the top, most of the market will be domestic, so don't want it to be too cheesy Australiana.
