Hacker Hub
by UrbanEd Academy
Bayview Hunters Point has SF’s highest rate of infant mortality, poverty and unemployment at four times the City and County of San Francisco average. To combat the physical representation of the community’s challenges, we're building the Hacker Hub for elementary aged kids in place of an existing liquor store, erasing a sign of the neighborhood's extreme poverty and reinvigorating the space for the future of Bayview’s youth. The Hacker Hub will create a STEM ecosystem to help change the trajectory for local youth and give them the 21st century skills that are critically important to succeeding in today’s job market.
We're looking for an innovative, authentic and youthful logo to represent this awesome display of true private/public sector partnerships!
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
