I am an experienced and well-connected health professional who has moved into the private sector in order to expand my work in patient advocacy. I have been seeing clients intermittently over the last couple of years and am aware that patient advocacy is considered one of the fastest growing new businesses of the decade, so I need to capitalize on this development.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am located across the street from the Stanford Medical Center and plan to connect with every physician in the area to advertise my availability. I will also advertise in local papers, use social media to market virally, and spread the word through my professional contacts. I hope to create a thriving business for Bay Area patients who are newly diagnosed with a chronic illness and need decision support, information gathering, alternative treatment options, and individual or family counseling.
I need to convey that this is a professional business staffed by medical people but I also want clients to understand that we are a group that provides all kinds of gentle support to patients and their loved ones. We are Western trained but open to alternative forms of healing and we are available to connect with their medical providers and treatment therapists.
The current website is http://www.integrativehealthdecisions.com. We are changing the name of the business as well as the branding as we want to emphasize our professional status so as to appeal more to the more conservative medical establishment.
Colors and tone of logo should convey warmth while still appealing to the business community.
