Jan Gilbert and Stacy Forman are bringing new “flair” to Indulgence, a distinguished fine jewelry store in Haverford, Pennsylvania. Flair Boutique, as the store-within-a-store will be called, will specialize in costume jewelry, statement pieces, accessories, and other affordable finishing touches to complete any woman’s look.
We are passionate about establishing a neighborhood destination where women feel welcomed, comfortable, and accepted. Our chic, unique approach to customer relations allows our patrons to seek friendly fashion advice while receiving unparalleled attention and service.
Our goal is to create a fashion-forward environment where customers can purchase the latest trends from both classic and promising new designers. It is our deepest wish that the intimacy of Flair Boutique will reflect the essence of an ideal shopping experience.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience is women from their early twenties to mid fifties. Our store is located on a major road with a lot of traffic, and we hope that our new awning with our new logo will attract the attention of daily commuters or anyone driving by.
Our store is painted a dark mocha and cream, with a burnt orange accent. The awning is a similar brown, and we would like the logo to be orange and cream to accent it. We would prefer some form of jewelry- be it a gem or a ring or whatever- to dot the i in Flair.
We want to brand ourselves as "Flair" predominately, and Flair Boutique as a technicality. Therefore we want the word Flair to be highly stylized and to dominate the logo, with boutique being a smaller afterthought.
Some potential ideas (that we are by no means sold to) are to have stylized script writing for the F and then print for the rest, or to have the whole word flair look like it is burning (flare- play on words). See attached images for examples of these ideas. Any inspirations that the artist has that fit with our description are more than welcomed!
