What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an art gallery and custom picture frame shop. We sell art work and do amazing custom picture framing. We are not the typical snobby art gallery, we are down to earth, but we do cater to people with lots of money. The word we use a lot is “transitional”. This means we straddle between contemporary and traditional in the artwork we display. Hence, our target customer ranges from young professionals to baby boomers. The logo needs to have “Art Source & Design” (Yes, it needs to be an ampersand) and the words “gallery/framing” somehow. NOTE** - We want the words "gallery" "framing" (as noted in slogan below) to be the MOST prominent/biggest font size of the sign. Also, DO NOT USE LETTERS AS&D AS A DESIGN ELEMENT.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

We really would like some more creative out of the box designs. We are open to anything.
NOTE** - We want the words "gallery" "framing" (as noted in slogan) to be the MOST prominent/biggest font size of the sign. Also, DO NOT USE LETTERS AS&D AS A DESIGN ELEMENT.
We are moving our store soon to a new super busy location and the exterior sign of the building on the back of the building will be seen by tens of thousands of potential customers per day. We are determined that our new logo look good at the new location. The exterior background the logo will be on is grey metal. It is critical that it look good on this and stand out. The front is a warmer stone, but this is not as important as it doesn’t face the very busy street that the back of the building does. Additionally, the “gallery” and “framing” is the MOST important part of the logo. When people realize it’s a gallery they will come and check us out and then we will reinforce the Art Source name. Gallery and framing can be as big or bigger than the Art Source name. The city regulations require we us channel letters, so the font can’t have any intricate serifs or the sign company can’t cut those parts. We are open to color. As you can see from our current logo, the “AS&D” was the main part of our logo. We are throwing this out the window as it does nothing for our design or name recognition and just takes up space. It asks above if we have a slogan - I put "gallery" and "framing". Obviously these are the two aspects of our business and two separate things and need to be separated somehow.
