We are the webs leading supplier in Canada and the US for eco-friendly promotional products. Our online store creates a gateway between customers and suppliers. Our firm is very design orientated and our current branding is a bit on the wimpy side. It doesn't scale down well.
We are looking for large corporations, ad agencies and government organizations looking to "green your brand".
Due to the nature of our industry (items mostly produced in China, shipped to US/CDA and then imprinted) we don't want to appear "too green".
Our new brand should feel high end and corporate and have mass appeal.
we require a file in .ai format. We are on CS3. Please design in pantone solid coated colors and provide PMS #'s in your art file.
The logo has to scale well. Right now our current "tree bits" become illegible if we imprint them on our own pens. A typical imprint area on a pen is .75" high by 1.25" wide.
It has to stand up as a one color imprint. Many of our products can take a one color imprint only.
The logo has to work as a horizontal and a vertical (we may adapt your design into two versions)
absolutely no gradients.
please stay away from clip art globes, recycle symbols, or other cliche green icons. Pretend you are the head of marketing for British Petroleum when designing
we take a customers logo and send it to a factory to get applied on a cup, pen, tote bag etc. So you could play with that concept with the art. Example - rubber stamp, a shipping box, icons that have to do with sticking out in a crowd, etc.
We are also looking for a color scheme to go with the logo. Our green business doesn't necessarily have to have forest green as its flagship color. It could be flashy colors (neon green) or earth tones.
The web site is about to undergo an re-design. It will in essence become a shopping cart. This logo will be the cornerstone for the look and feel of the entire web site.
I'm a big fan of text logos with minor modifications to give it a 'feel'.
