The name Mysh is short for "MYstery SHopping". It's important to understand what "mystery shopping" is before you start working on this logo design.
We have a website that connects Shoppers (anyone can be a shopper) with stores (like clothes stores, grocery stores, restaurants or even airlines!) to have the shoppers act like real customers. After a Shopper has visited a store, they submit a survey with answers of how they experienced the store, customer service, how clean it was, etc.
The store manager gets a report of all the mystery shopping surveys, and the shopper gets money in their bank account.
Mysh is all about understanding what real customers REALLY think of your store (or restaurant, or airline, or movie theater, or hotel ++) by having them act like secret agent customers.
Mysh works with any kind of store/business, both online stores and physical stores.
Mysh is the best part-time job anyone could have! You get paid for shopping!
But it's also a very important analytics tool for any store manager and business owner.
After seeing the designs so far we have some wishes and comments that apply for all of you:
1. We don't want the logo to resemble a secret agent
2. We like the idea of combining a "review star" with a ghost of some sort. Just make sure the ghost doesn't look too much like Snapchats - especially since we also wish to use a yellow (or orange) color.
3. We prefer yellow
4. For fonts; the best fonts we've seen so far are bold, sans-serif/handwritten or maybe "squishy" fonts (like if you were to write MYSH with toothpaste)
5. Avoid using shopping carts: Mysh works with restaurants, airlines, cinemas, webshops, barber shops etc. as well, so a shopping cart or shopping basket wouldn't be relevant. Instead try to work with the idea of "good reviews", "ghost shopping" and "good customer experience"/"happy customer".
