Woodcliff Capital is a new exclusive, private real estate investment business based in Melbourne Australia, launching August 2014.
Its founder is a globally recognised and (reluctantly) high profile executive, well known and highly respected on the global stage. He previously built and chaired the world’s largest real estate investment business covering Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The business has been launched in response to several large offshore institutional investors’ requests for Australian investment opportunities, coupled with the founder’s knowledge and global experience. Woodcliff Capital will focus on investment in, and development of, large scale prime commercial real estate in the Australian markets.
The name Woodcliff is the original name of the founder’s private home, one of the original estate homes in Melbourne, built in 1910. It is anticipated that the logo and branding of Woodcliff Capital will reflect the history, longevity and substance of the home, and its rock-solid foundations which have stood the test of time.
With the current interest and clients, it is expected that the business will have funds under management in excess of A$1 billion within 2 years.
