Smeg has been fantastic to work with. His concepts are innovative, smart, and aesthetic, and he is receptive to critique and suggestion. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished logo and how thoughtful, receptive, and creative Smeg has been throughout the process.

A potential political campaign operating in the New York metropolitan region; target audience is all residents of the area. See "Other" for important notes.

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
This logo would need to be able to be used in political signs and on bumper stickers, as well as a website and on letterhead.
Generally, simpler is better - it would need to be able to be a 2 or 3 color vector spot image, if that means anything to you (this is just what the sign printer told me, I have little understanding of these filetypes), and then high res jpg and png for other uses.
To describe the concept/mockup attached, it's supposed to be a rising sun emanating from behind the "D" in "Day" (or incorporated as a part of the "D" if you want to try at that), would need to be able to be used both on its own (Like as a part of the name "Day" on a sign) as well as in the context of a slogan or a full name, and needs to stand out clearly/be very legible from a distance. This is up to the individual designer whether you're ok with providing both, but ideally I'd like the final version to be provided in blue background/white lettering format and blue lettering/white or clear background.
