Ian D. Rossi needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 269 designs submitted by 61 freelance designers.
aimtheory (aimtheoryCRM.com)
aimtheory is a web company currently focused on a SaaS CRM product called aimtheoryCRM. aimtheory was given a new name in 2007 but was established in 2002.
We are re-launching website design services after a hiatus of several years and want to re-brand ourselves to show our web marketing expertise and capabilities.
Budget-conscious small to medium-sized business owners that want to:
- Design a new website
- Redesign an old website
- Increase website traffic
- Recreate their web marketing strategy
There is still plenty of time to get in on this contest! We're no where near the end and we haven't made any pivotal decisions yet, so please keep the ideas coming!
Please find the current logo at http://www.aimtheoryCRM.com. (Also uploaded here to 99designs)

NOTE: We will consider attempts to merely "clean up" the current logo, making it look more modern and alive or stand off the page, while the colors, fonts and positions stay intact. The fonts in the original logo are Helvetica-based.
It must contain the text "aim theory". It can be one or two words--you can be creative here--though we tend favor it as all one word and lowercase. But we want to consider objective ideas.
It must also contain the sub-text "Affordable Website Design".
- The viewer will immediately associate us with the web.
- Create the notion that the customer will reach their goals "spot on" if they choose us for their web project.
- If you can come up with a technique to persuade the customer to choose aimtheory using the logo design, please do.
Since the target audience is budget-conscious, we don't want to intimidate them. Keep this in mind when choosing colors and styles.
- Clean
- Eye catching
- Simple
- Recognizable
- Not corporate
- Not too cheery or bouncy
NOTE on 3D: If there is 3D, we prefer the notion of 3D but performed using 2D techniques. Must look good on a business card.
Other adjectives: expert, affordable, cutting-edge, artistic, minimal, clean
We like blue and green, but again, we're open to something new. We've seen nice accents with a third, complimentary orange color.
We want something that will look good on a light background and a dark one. We want to see high resolution samples that are very clean.
File formats:
- We would like to receive the logo in svg format. Also in optimized PNG.
That's it! Take it away!
