We chose Dusan because we really liked what we saw in his portfolio. We found that giving good feedback was really important to go in the direction we wanted (even though we didn't have an EXACT idea of what that was). His 2nd concept was so 'right on' that it was one of the few times since 1995 (and working with lots of designers on many different projects) that I've accepted a design without any revisions. We couldn't be happier and am looking forward to working with Dusan and company again.
How Davidphoto started their logo design journey
I am looking for a logo to replace my existing one.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I am looking for something more grown up than my existing logo, something modern and representative of what I do. What I do is very diverse. About half my income is from weddings but I don't want to be identified as a "wedding Photographer", I am looking for something (here come the keywords) grown up, professional, creative, and with some kind of edginess, coolness and or fun is good. I have been with my old logo for twelve years now and it served me very well, it stood out. I would like the new one to do the same but in a more modern, grown up way. Please check out my new web site as I hope it will give you some idea of what and who I am. The old logo is at http://www.davidphoto.ca/static/img…o-toon.png the web site address is http://www.davidphoto.ca
I would like an Illustrator or SVG file. I want this to work in B&W as well. The logo will be used on business cards, website, stationary, signage, etc. I would like to have access to the font used. I would like a logo that will work with and without the company name.
I don't want a great design of my initials, a monogram is not what I am after. I don't want many colors B&W plus one color is enough but I will look at more.
