CrowdSpace needs a logo! CrowdSpace is an online service that enables users to easily and affordably manage members in their groups, unions, congregations, etc.
Previously our service was marketed to faith-based institutions. We are opening our services to other markets and need a new brand to better communicate and connect with these various market verticals. We don't feel there is any one competitor that stands out as providing a "memorable brand experience," nor do we feel there is any competition that can provide a complete solution as affordably as we can - considering we provide it for free.
We appreciate all of the work you are going to put into this, and we will definitely be providing frequent feedback as we receive submissions.
(Note: Feedback might be limited over the Aug 16/17 weekend.)
CrowdSpace
CrowdSpace is for people who run / manage groups. Think community clubs, churches, minor sports leagues, user groups, associations, etc. Forming groups is a fundamental part of the human experience. Our job is to make things easier for the people who run / manage those groups.
Our target markets are wide ranging: from small business and non-profits to the enterprise. We need a logo / brand image that can connect with all of these groups.
People that are attracted to our service are either spending too much on another service, not using anything at all, or are looking to find an easier solution. We are a very "you" oriented company - we care about solving pain points for our users (e.g., tracking membership, sending group emails, printing mailing labels).
Some phrases that inspire our thinking:
- groups
- people
- affordable
- social
- connections
- easy
- professional
- "you" focused
- service vs. product
- trusted
- friendly / warm
- approachable
- fun but clean cutOne major consideration must be that this logo will appear throughout our web application and in emails as well as offline (stationery, business cards, invoices, clothing, etc). So 2 or 3 colors, vector graphics, and scalable down to small dimensions.
The logo should be contemporary and clean (but not too Web 2.0).
- Contemporary and clean
- Creativity
- Vector graphics
- Scalable down to small dimensions
- Design to be overwhelming
- Complication
- Too many colors
- Lowercase 's' in crowdspace unless words are different colors (don't want people to think it's Crowds Pace)
- Cheese (people holding hands, etc.)
