I would simply (!) like a baseball-themed logo in blue which says 'ClipperBlog'. Classic / cartoon / retro would be great, with a swish. See image for further details. I leave it to your judgement, but i feel like the swish (from the g) should go from bottom-right to top-left, as opposed to the other way around like in the Orioles logo.
