Hdez.eduardo got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a powerful logo for citizen-empowerment through information.

SIL.do is a legislative tracking web application that allows citizens to follow the action in the Dominican Congress. Users can "follow" a legislator, a law, or a legislative committee, and be informed of anything new related to their following lists. Users can also band together and propose legislative initiatives, and seek out co-signers with the objective of getting 2% of the electorate to support, the threshold to constitutionally have their bills introduced to Congress. The target audience is politically active and civically minded citizens, who will form the core of their users, as well people interested in knowing what their elected officials are up to. SIL.do also has original editorial content, published on its Blog, offering a non-partisan, objective view of legislative matters.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury. Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Hdez.eduardo collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
