Who are you known as?
Girls about Change
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Girls about Change is an organization that develops girls as confident leaders who address issues in their communities and change the world. Through after-school programs, workshops and summer activities, we engage girls in using their voice and talents to create positive change.
Our after-school program, Social Action Leaders of Today, provides opportunities for girls, ages 10-14, to discover their strengths, develop leadership skills and engage in their communities through meaningful service activities. Over 30-weeks, girls identify and research a community issue and plan a one-day social action project implemented at the end of the school year.
Girls about Change was founded in 2010 with a mission of inspiring girls to create positive change in their communities.
