Logo types to explore
Audience: The core audience will be male console gamers, aged 18-34 Audience majority plays PS3 & XBOX360. We’ll also be catering to Wii owners (so don’t make it too evil looking). Do: Take visual cues from the industrial design of modern consoles and smart phones. Think aerodynamic/clean lines/modern. Clever typography and visual metaphors are appreciated Interested in chrome/silver look and/or glowing elements. Don’t go crazy with it or anything, but a judicious use of fine textures and subdued glow will certainly catch our eye. Avoid: Avoid the religious connotations of the word “Revive”. We’re going more for “Give a new life to your old games.” Avoid 8-bit, old school game imagery. I know. I want to use it too, but we’re going for modern console gamers. Technical: We'll need a vectorized final file - preferably a layered Ai file. Must be legible and recognizable at small sizes. Must be legible in b/w Final logo (typographic + pictoral) must fit in a landscape rectangle Pictorial mark will be used as a thumbnail for social media. Must fit nicely within square bounds. Inspiration: We’re really digging on the lighting from the new Tron We’ll be pulling some elements from this template for site navigation: http://graphicriver.net/theme_previews/154866-unique-illuminated-web-elements
