It is hard to find a designer that goes above and beyond and takes each Job personal. I was given input not only on the design but also on specific wording that may work better for us.
Communication from the get go was amazing.
My designer was amazing! It was like they read my mind. It was the first design that I received and it was the one. The designer was very easy to work with and replied back to me in a timely manner. All the little tweeks that we did, they did with ease. I love my logo and would recommend this designer to anyone.
How Jacob719 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a church. Our mission statement is "to give people a place to belong and to empower them for a life of action". We have been known as "The Table", but we are changing our name because of another business with the same name.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like how this is simple, but has depth.
I like the geometric building blocks of this design that feed into a recognizable figure.
I really like the ring of "kaleidoscope" color on this design.
I like that there are elements of this design that could be used in other things.
I like that this is a single color design, but it still "pops".
I think I would like a single color logo that can be used in any of the colors I specified. I would also be open to a logo that utilizes all/most of the colors I specified in a way that shows diversity and a "coming together of many parts". I'd like to see water imagery to go with the "Wellspring" name. I'm thinking of a circle, as in our current logo, but I'm open to other shapes or designs.
I'm not in favor of an obvious literal cross. If you look at our current logo (for The Table), you'll notice that while there is a cross in there if you look hard enough, the main imagery is a sort of "weave". I like that design. In the design for Wellspring Church, I'm looking for something a bit more modern, but still "crafty" and "natural" looking. I'd prefer the main imagery be water -- flowing water, water bubbling up, something that conjures imagery of a wellspring which involves the constant movement of water.
I also want you to feel free to begin playing with other abstract concepts or designs. I would like the designs to incorporate themes of movement and progress. We are a church that is SENDING. I like the image of a Wellspring because it is a place were water bubbles up and then goes out into a river. similarly we want to be a church where people meet God and then are sent out to affect the world around them. If you can identify abstract designs that encapsulate this, I think it could be great.
