miltondove got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a Logo for a Printables Business

Art & Design
We offer a wide variety of printables like greeting cards, stationery, and more. See additional details under 'Other notes.'
The logo will be used in several locations: 1. A website header where I have about 50 pixels of vertical space. This is the most important use. You should test your design at this size before submitting it. 2. The footer of print documents. 3. The back of greeting cards. The logo should work for all of these purposes. The style of the logo should reflect the following ideas: crafty stylish creative And these to a somewhat lesser degree: DIY handmade The audience for this project is mostly women, but I don't want a design that is too feminine. I found a lot of examples in the general style I want by searching Google Images for things like "crafty logo" and "handmade logo." Use pastel or bright colors. I want a graphic included in the logo. The graphic should be placed to the left of the text. Don't make the graphic significantly taller than the text part of the logo. This would make the text too small for most purposes (e.g., the website header). Several different graphics would be suitable for this brand. Here are a few ideas: a bird a butterfly a flower I'm fine with other ideas as long as they are similar and fit with the brand. The font should be simple and easy to read. The text shouldn't look blurry at small sizes. The text should be on a single line. DO NOT use multiple lines for the brand. This will cause the text to be very small when resized for our intended use.
