Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Methodist Staffing is an online job site where people who want to work in Methodist churches (youth pastors, pastors, worship leaders, mission directors, and other employees) can connect with Methodist churches with staff openings. It is a job board plus search group.
The target audience is churches in the Methodist family (United Methodist Church, Free Methodist Church, Wesleyan Church, Church of the Nazarene, etc.) and prospective employees.

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
-The logo should be able to be incorporated into many types of mediums.
-The included logos are ideas for the types of feel we’re going for.
-Church jobs are largely relational and we want to signal trust to potential clients.
-We’re not interested in using "MS" as shorthand in the logo.
-The official logo of the United Methodist Church may not be used in the design. However, it might be helpful to know what it is in case you want it to influence your design. Almost everyone coming to the site will be familiar with it: http://www.umc.org/resources/cross-and-flame
-Incorporation of a flame could be a nice touch, but is not necessary and would need to be in alignment with other criteria in the brief.
-The fonts should be transferrable or some that will work well with other fonts for further web design and graphic work.
