Create a logo for a National Wildlife Refuge Friend's Group!

Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge

We are a nonprofit organization that supports Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, the ONLY NWR in Ohio, located near Oak Harbor, Ohio. We raise money to promote & support the refuge and its conservation and education initiatives.

I'd like to explore the following colors:

Aquas: Empathy, compassion, clarity and precision.
Greens: Growth, harmony and success.

I've attached some files of other Friend's groups logos that we like, as well as our old logo which we have used since 1997. Definitely time for an update! I would like to see wildlife incorporated into our design. Our marshes are home to unique and endangered wildlife like the Eastern Prairie Fringed Orchid and yellow-throated Blandings Turtle. We have nesting bald eagles and a very unique heron rookery on West Sister Island, so incorporating an eagle and great blue heron, egret or black crowned night heron would be nice. We have lots of marshland full of shorebirds in the summer and ducks in the fall and are located right next to Lake Erie. People come to Ottawa NWR for wildlife observation, educational programs, hunting, fishing, & photography. We are really looking for something that depicts our refuge perfectly. We want a stand out logo to connect with our visitors and potential donors & supporters.
