42aross got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a logo for the Eclipse Foundation's Science Working Group
Check out 42aross's Logo design contest…
The Science Working Group hosted by the Eclipse Foundation (a not for profit) is a collaboration of people developing software for scientific research. The target audience is people looking for good quality open source scientific software, and those who might be interested in collaborating to develop it.
Logo types to explore
We want a clean, simple, and unique design without fancy gradients or bevels. We would like a colour, black, and white version of the logo in .svg & .png formats at minimum. (.ai or .eps would be fine too) Please take a look at some of our other working groups for inspiration such as: http://locationtech.org http://iot.eclipse.org http://lts.eclipse.org http://polarsys.org
