Our current logo incorporates images of fish and a loaf of bread, a reference to St. Andrew, who was part of the "loaves and fishes" miracle according to the story. Unfortunately, most people can't tell what it is, and it looks like a weird blob. We are looking for something with more movement and color!
Since our church is named after St. Andrew, playing with the idea of loaves and fishes is a good one, but we'd love something that was either more identifiable, or, if abstract, more attractive.
Another thing our church is known for is feeding people: the homeless and working poor. The loaves and fishes would be a good image to convey that, but so might other things: a table, a stalk of wheat, a cross that is also open arms?
What we don't want: open book, dove, steeple, building.
We will be using this on our website, letterhead, publications, business cards, etc. An image that is longer than it is tall will work best.
