Longevity Locs is a brand that focuses on providing quality natural hair care products, services and support for people with or aspiring to have locs. So our target audience is the Rastafarian and Loc community. Longevity Locs is a company that works hard to earn the business of their valued customers for a lifetime. We want to build a relationship with our customers that is genuine, reciprocal and long-lasting.
The logo design we want MUST incoporate an Anhk -which is an egyptian symbol- and have locs flowing down or off of the Anhk. This symbol represents eternal life, longevity, and the appreciation of life. Essentially we want the Ankh to represent our African brothers and sisters so it must be in bronze color or black or gold. The locs should be in black or gold. We would appreciate if you use these details to create a ankh emboding a person... or better yet a silhouette of a person but it does not necessarily have to have a face. We would actually prefer it does not have a face as our company is gender-neutral. We want the locs to look as real as possible so please put a lot of effort and detail in the locs. Once again the Locs should be starting from the circle of the ankh or head of the logo and flowing down. I will provide a sketch. I would also like for the words Longevity Locs to be put somewhere on the logo either on the bottom or around in a circle.
Another concept that I had for this design was to have the locs flowing down naturally and leading into the words "Longevity Locs". and having the hair as the font if possible. Another idea that i thought would look kool and revelant to my vision is to have the font start with two ankhs in the shapes of L's see sketch attached
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Cosmetics & Beauty
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
The ankh should be gold or bronze. The locs should be black or brown. The words can be in black shimmery gold, black or white.

I like the color of the tree and the details in the branches. I want a designer that likes to put in a lot of detail,
I like silhouettes. I dont mind working with a designer that is familiar with doing silhouettes.
I like this as a font. I want an african inspired/ them font.
The detail in the texture of the cat i like in particular,
I like the colors and concept.
I like the font i like the fact that its a fabric of the animal embedded in the font as well.
I dont mind if you incorporate a crown on the top of the figure to represent royalty but it is not necessary.
Imagine the starbucks logo how the hair flows off the mermaid. i would like locs flowing like that. Perhaps the hair can flow into the name Longevity Locs. I really like the colors black, gold, brown and green you do not have to use all 4 but maybe 2 or 3 of these together would look nice. Im very particular about the font. I want an african themed Font something tribal or eccentric. SO the first photo I uploaded is a sketch but it supposed to be rotated another 90 degrees. I guess just the way i took the picture. The other pictures represent locs that I like pertaining to size and volume. The silhouette or figure should have a full set of healthy looking hair like these girls. I especially like the way the locs flow in the last picture with the girl with the brown locs.
I would specifically need this logo to be displayed on a 7ft by 4 ft stop and repeat. Also, I would eventually want it to be put on merchandise that I intend on having for sale such as shower caps, hair bonnets, t-shirts, and also for my hair line that is going to be launching next year. So potentially this logo will need to also be used on packing imagine weave bundle packaging.
