Red Tuna Shirt Club
The Red Tuna Shirt Club is a new online business launching in the coming months.
We will sell only t-shirts, and only t-shirts designed especially for the avid saltwater fisherman. Our shirts will feature various saltwater fishing destinations from all over the world...the most unique and best offshore fishing captains, fish camps, and charter businesses around.
While our shirts may represent all kinds of saltwater fishing, our primary focus will be on "bluewater" fishing....meaning offshore/deep sea angling.
The tuna is one of the ultimate bluewater gamefish, and the "red tuna" will be our mascot...
Our target audience are devoted saltwater fishing enthusiasts, who either travel to, or aspire to travel to, the top fishing destinations around the world.
Our audience are serious fishermen...most of whom will spend a significant amount of money on the sport and are therefore a more upscale group than you might imagine. However it is also a laid back, fun-loving group of outdoor enthusiasts....they probably like Tommy Bahama clothes and Jimmy Buffett/Bob Marley music.
We are looking for a logo for our new retail website, called the "Red Tuna Shirt Club".
The logo should include the words "Red Tuna Shirt Club", and should include some kind of likeness or image of a tuna.
We are looking for something cool and somewhat hip....but also not too edgy or modern looking. It could be more serious, but we would also be interested in something that captured a bit of the laid-back coastal lifestyle.
We would consider a "cartoon" type tuna design, but we are NOT looking for too cheesy...no"Big Johnson" tee shirt type designs, please.
We are open minded....but in our minds the tuna that will be featured in the logo might be an illustration or abstraction of some kind, rather than an overly realistic portrayal of a tuna. The tuna is a magestic gamefish, and our tuna should have some personality and possibly some strength.
P.S.There is a kind of fish called a "red tuna", but it is a relatively obscure species...therefore, in this context we are thinking of the "red" tuna being somewhat abstract. We imagine our "red tuna" looking somewhat like a yellowfin tuna or bluefin tuna (most common types of tuna), but.....red. (or at least red tinted)
