nancycaramanico got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Catholic Family Fun Club

Created by families, for families
All faithful Catholic families who live within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and want to have fun together while learning about their faith are welcome to join the Catholic Family Fun Club. This group is created by families, for families so we can attend—and create—local Catholic catechetical and social activities together.
My preference is something that conveys love and community but that does not connote a particular race or family structure. So something abstract-ish without a particular family pictured but some indistinct figures with a swirl/circle showing love/relationship or similar is good. See the meetup website for other information https://www.meetup.com/Catholic-Family-Fun-Club/
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at NOK 2,599.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
