I am looking for the word BLAM as the primary logo (picture mark) expressed as a monogram type symbol with “The Black Art Museum” as the title(word mark). I also want included an icon of some sort worked in the design.(For example, in my own sketches I thought of the letter L being an exclamation point and the dot being some type of icon that can be used as a stand alone accent or part of a pattern. For example, Louie Vuitton uses 3 icons with their monogram. The icon(s) can symbolize any of, Pride, struggle, faith or clebration). I am open for either ultra sophisticated or playful and quirky - anything that expresses contemporary art. Black culture and heritage can be expressed perhaps,. The logo should be elegant whether it’s casual or sophisticated. Words with ligatures are nice. I love the Victoria and Albert Museum logo as an elegant example. Colorful is good. Even the feeling of the Saul Bass logos for “Anatomy of a murder” and The Man with the Golden Arm” is a good feel on the more casual end.
